That is this book’s best and highest use.

Your therapist or a knowledgeable 12-step sponsor might also choose to lead you through this material. The one thing we don’t recommend is simply purchasing this book and trying to get well on your own, without external input. In our experience, porn addicts have little hope of recovery until they reach out for assistance from knowledgeable others.

Our primary goal with this workbook and the corresponding online workgroups is to assist people who struggle with problem porn use. We want those who are suffering to have their concerns and compulsions addressed without shame and without moral, cultural, or religious bias. Most of all, we want to suggest that long-term change and recovery are possible for all who are committed to healing.
